Community Impact

Love For Our Community

With a passion for taking care of our community and environment, we start the distribution of Novi Pure with the kind acceptance of Deaf Reach and KDSP to collaborate and help brighten lives.

KDSP

The Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP), a non-profit organization, was launched in March 2014 by a group of affected parents and passionate individuals who, due to limited support and resources available locally, realized a need for a platform of those affected by Down syndrome.

KDSP was formed with the mission to advocate for the value, acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome living in Karachi and to provide them with the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives. Since its inception, KDSP has been involved in organizing workshops and trainings with international speakers and experts, running city-wide awareness campaigns, holding monthly support group meetings, printing regular newsletters, establishing a helpline for parents, and partnering with educational institutions to promote inclusive education.

Deaf Reach

Deaf Reach is a program of Family Educational Services Foundation (FESF) a non-profit educational organization active in Pakistan since 1984. We aim to change the fact that less than 5% of 1 million Deaf children in Pakistan have access to education.

We challenge the notion that the deaf are ‘disabled’. The Deaf are as smart, intelligent and as full of potential as their hearing counterparts. We provide the necessary language tools so that Deaf children can effectively communicate with their parents and teachers.

With your support, we can make an effective long-lasting change in the lives of more deaf children and their communities. FESF has been awarded UN ECOSOC Consultative status since 2014.
